Whilst watching T.V.one evening I saw "Favorite" entering the Tyne, she was being used for a documentary film on coming back to Newcastle. Great to see her still in such good condition. My first recollections of her was in Seahouses harbour and I'm sure it was in the '50s not 60's.We used to go for holidays there every year staying in a little caravan called the "Bella Vista" on the caravan site overlooking Devils Gulley. Bill Robson and his wife Kate became very good friends, Bill would give us fish and crabs which he had caught. Me and my cousins would always wait for them coming back to harbour and ask if he had any sea urchins, Bill showed us how to clean them. My uncle Frank Donalson went out a few times on the boat with the crew and had a good but tiring time with them. Kate would watch for their return through powerful binoculars looking for the number BK11 or espesially the little red spike on top of the mast.Lovely memories. 7.10.2010

video brings back memories of fishing like this aboard Myrtle LH24 from Port Seton. Visited the trust on Wednesday 16th June at South Shields thanks to Peter Weightman for tour. You are all doing a great job restoring and looking after these old boats.
Thanks Bruce Buchanan.
